Any qualified hair dressers out there?

Im currently doing a hairdressing course at college and i have been asked by my friend (out of college) to colour her hair. She wants me to use a different product to what i use at college. She says she normally has the ';5.6 Loreal Majirel Permanent colour'; Thats fine but im confused with what type of developer to use with it? Any suggestions from anybody who uses Loreal?





Here are the choices of developer.. im guessing its the soft releaser??

Any extra info you may need to no..


Im only doing a root application and combing it through to tone it


Her natural colour is a brown but has alot of grey regrowth

i use wella at my salon but trained with loreal im pretty sure its the soft releaser as i know the rest are defintly 4 semi permanent colours so will only cover 50% grey
