what happens if you put perm dye over a way too dark semi dye you used... does it then lock that semi dye into your hair for good?? what is the reslut of this?Hair dressers... semi perm. dye and perm dye..?
Just chop it all off and start fresh!! :DHair dressers... semi perm. dye and perm dye..?
color does not remove color so if you are trying to lighten it , it won't work. it also depends on what you used before, I mean what color and brand. there are many factors in the molecular structure of color. semi color sits on top of your natural and washes away gradually, permanent will open the cuticle and either direct deposit or lift out your natural and replace with the artificial color molecules. this is only on virgin hair which you no longer have. the permanent will not exactly lock in the other color but it will make it harder to remove both in the future. Other factors include whether or not you had previously colored your hair at any time in the last year or so, and that is a whole other show...lol. If you are looking to remove the old color only bleach or color remover will work.
