If i say side bangs will the hair dresser understand?

I want to get side bangs, but i can't find any good pictures of them. I want side bangs that cover one eye, but aren't too thick. I think she'll know, but I'm not sure, and I just don't know where to look anymore for pictures.If i say side bangs will the hair dresser understand?

honestly, ';side bangs'; mean different things to different people. try to explain as best you can and make sure your stylist cuts them when it's DRY. that way, they don't get too short. if you can't find a good picture, maybe you can make a little drawing of where you want it to lay on your face (over your eye or whatever). even if it's not a perfect drawing (smiley face with bangs, haha) your stylist will get a better idea of what you're trying to say.
