How do I explain this 80's/90's hairstyle to my hair dresser?

I want to bring back the bangs from the 1980's- early 90's that a lot of women had. the feathered lookin bangs swept to the side. kinda like dj tanner from full house! or the blonde model chick in the Warrant-Sweet Cherry Pie video.

So what is this type of bang called? are they layered bangs I'm assuming? thats why they look feathered like.

anyone please help? How do I explain this 80's/90's hairstyle to my hair dresser?
Im prety sure if you explain right that to them they will know exactly what to do because I know the exact look your thinking of.. But I have no clue what they are called but if you can find one bring in a pic and that will be 100x better!

you dont need to explain, hairdressers work better when they have a picture because they could get coinfused and mess up your bangs royally. and we wouldnt want that now would we?! lol :)
