How do I lighten lowlights that are too dark, my hair dresser got them too dark and I ask for lighter ones.?

today I went to the salon had lowlights and highlights put into my hair I specifically ask for a lighter color of lowlights to be put into my hair because I still wanted my haircolor to be blonde, but my hair is darker now than before I went to the salon..and my hair does not even look blonde anymore....I am very unhappy with the color...what can I do to make the lowlights lighter?How do I lighten lowlights that are too dark, my hair dresser got them too dark and I ask for lighter ones.?
honestly, i wouldnt mess with it chemically. it will fade. instead of doing one shampoo each time you shower, shampoo twice. even if she used permanent color it will surely fade.How do I lighten lowlights that are too dark, my hair dresser got them too dark and I ask for lighter ones.?
Wash your hair tonight with a stripping shampoo, like Prell.... It may be a little dry for a few days, but just make up for it with a little extra moisturizing time for the following week. That should strip a little of the color out.

put some bleach and comb it thru the low lights. Dont put too much... that should do the trick
