Does ne one have ne real real good make up/hair/beauty tips?
hmm the one that i like the most is when putting on lipstick put a darker shade on top and then go 1 - 2 shades lighter on the bottom and then softly rub your lips together to slighty blend them together and it makes it looks more natural

Hmmm I don't know about Oceandside but there's one in La Costa called Arezzo (I think that's how it's spelled). All the hair dressers there do highlights. The only other place I went to that was closer to Oceanside was The Magic Razor (in the El Camino Real Mall) I don't know if they are still there.

I am mixed race with relaxed afro hair, can any of you girls tell me how you look after your hair etc?

Well, after i relax my hair, it's straight, but just a little frizzy and sticks out like most people...
And we have more melanin than most caucasians, so our skin tends not to age as quickly as others.All mixed race and black girls, a hair %26amp; beauty question?
DO NOT USE any kinda of hair oil cause i reckon it ruins your hair. I use dark %26amp; lovely hair lotion thingy cause it smells nice and it keeps your hair soft and shiny. Use it just after you wash you hair, apply it wet and then dry it, then straighten it, it protects it from the heat and doesn't dry it out. But honestly, using as little product as possible is better for your hair, you only need to use it once and thats just after you wash it.
Btw im 18 %26amp; i look young anyways :)
you have to knw wht type is ur hair before..is it dry, chapped or oily..strong. or weakk?%26gt; then u decide on hw to treat it.

I was wondering how the hair/beauty salon in Sears was. Has anyone tried it? What are the prices like?
Prices are steep , and the hair dressers are usually right out of school .Plus they do try and sell you products because that is what they re told to do . They have to sell a certain amount and they have a certain amount of time to do each service , say , 30 mins. for a cut and style . 2 hours for a perm , or color . I know many stylists who worked there and they weren't happy . Plus I had to do so many repairs , on clients who went there , the hair was a sloppy mess, because they were rushed .I was wondering how the hair/beauty salon in Sears was. Has anyone tried it? I would suggest once you are 18 years of age that you sign up to work with a direct selling company that has to do with health, wellness, and beauty. These types of companies allow you to make your own schedule and earn money. Most provide free training and you will learn so much about the products, working your own small business, sales, marketing, and about yourself.
This type of company will provide you the freedom and some extra income while you are in school.
I am an independent consultant for Arbonne. I love it and we have many students that have been very successful with this business while in school. Some create a huge business for themselves and others just work it a little for extra money.
There are other companies like Arbonne as options to work with. I like Arbonne because they are a green company, all products are made in the USA, they are vegan certified, and friends of the animals. They want to offer products that are pure safe and beneficial. A healthier option and what many people are looking for in health, wellness, and beauty today.

there are a lot of professions in the beauty field. you can be a makeup artist just in general, working at a store for a line and doing make up that way. you can be a personal make up artist, do make up for weddings, events that sort of thing. you could take it to the next level and do movie make up, orrr special effects makeup, which is realllly cool. hair you can do basically all the same things but with hair! or just a regular hair designer, cutting, dying etc etc. You could be a stylist. If you want to take it from a more medical perspective you could go into Dermatology or a different level like an Aesthetician. There's a lot of things to do, it's just finding a job that you can be successful at within it.
Make up artist.. Hair stylist.. Beauty technician..

Brown sugar body scrub
Ingredients
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons ground oats
2 tablespoons aloe vera gel
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon olive oil
Grind the oatmeal in a food processor first, otherwise it will scratch your skin.
Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl. Mix until it resembles a paste.
It should be applied on moist skin, the best time is after you took a shower. It will help the skin cells slough off faster.
Use circular motion and massage gently using your fingertips.
Rinse off with warm water.Follow up with a good moisturizer . Alba Botanica makes a great one! Another really important thing is to drink lots of water. Drinking more water will definitely help your dry skin heal from the inside out. Hope this helps!

I love doing hair, i mess with mine all the time and i always do my friends but the most i can do is straighten it. I cant do french plaites or nothing fancy like that. Im doing a childcare course at college so i cant change courses so i can learn how 2 do them. does anyone know how i can become an expert on hair? ThanksHair %26amp; Beauty????

Expert on hair? Cosmotology classes. But I think when you enroll into them they also teach you make up techniques, hair dying (and styling ofcoarse) and doing acrylic nails.

how to manage your hair making it look healthy, full of shine and volume without spending big bucks at the saloon?Hair beauty?
first of all excercise or do Yoya , drink lots of water and maintain a healty diet. secondly avaoid usage of chemicals . eat protein rich foods . apply amla retha shikakai etc if ya r keen to apply smthing . use henna instand of dye. apply eggs . head ( or hair ) massage is very neccesary . Head massage should be done once a week or twice but do it. Bet oil is either dat of mustard or olive oil( de best). oil should remain on ur hair for 2 days atlest . thes are mah suggesionHair beauty?
Eat healthy, find good products that work for you and a stylist that works at a mid-range salon. You can check out products with a book called ';Don't go shopping for haircare products without me';... it came out in 2004, is available at the library and reviews over 4,000 products.

Use A Good GENTLE Shampoo And Treatment Conditoner. Avoid Over-Brushing, Over-Combing, Too Much Blow-Drying, Styling Products And ';Heated'; Appliances. And Your Hair Will Shine With Health.(P.S. Too Much Coloring, Bleaching, Relaxing And Exposure To The Elements Are A Big No-No Too.)
