Ladies, how many of you like husbands 'assisting' in house work, your hair & beauty/ massage therapy, etc.?

My b/f does alot of housework... that is until he had to have surgery last wk.... He did his own laundry %26amp; if I cooked, he did the dishes.. if he cooks, I do them!! I hate doing dishes, so I cook 99% of the time.. lol He does help around the house alot, %26amp; somedays I get up %26amp; he has cleaned the whole house.. he is an early bird %26amp; is up way b4 I am. It is nice having someone appreciate you enough 2 help out!Ladies, how many of you like husbands 'assisting' in house work, your hair %26amp; beauty/ massage therapy, etc.?
Before my husband passed away recently, he at times enjoyed doing household chores for both our parents' houses. (We weren't in a position or AGE (23 and 24, as of now) to OWN a house ... and to rent a SEPARATE residence wasn't exactly working ...


He loved to wash my hair and would fuss over me if I would forget to brush my teeth or what have you. (Schizophrenia is something his mother definitely has, I am developing, and that he was diagnosed with at ten years old.


We were each others' care takers, but I am more of a childish mind that he was... I wouldn't very often get back massages, but when I did, they were absolutely fantastic, and well welcomed.Ladies, how many of you like husbands 'assisting' in house work, your hair %26amp; beauty/ massage therapy, etc.?
I LIKE him assisting in housework, but now since I have recently quit my job and am at home ALL day, I only ask him to take the trash out.





Hair%26amp;Beauty? Uh, little to none. I might ask him which shoe does he think I should wear and then I go with the opposite LOL





Massage therapy? When he does it and WANTS to do it it's Grrreat, but when he's Lazy about it he SUCKS
My husband doesn't ';assist' in house work, we split it evenly.





As for hair/beauty, why would he do that? I doubt he wants to flat iron my hair or attempt mascara....





Massage, occasionally we give each other ones, but mostly we go get them done since we have massage envy memberships.
Housework is both peoples job its not like the old days where the woman does everything...I'm not married yet but I'm due to get married Dec. 28th and yes I'm gonna quit my job and be a stay at home wife but he knows not to expect me to do all the housework...I refuse to take out trash and he refuses to let me even touch the kitchen (army man but he was in culinary arts before he joined) and massages OMG he gives the best but hair and make up I ask him what color I should dye it or should I wear it up or down but that's about all the say he has in that department and make up if it were up to him I wouldn't wear it...(I still wear it even if I'm just going to the gas station) But I love the fact that we share the household work and actually discuss things its healthy!!!
House work and preparing meals is a 50/50 thing if both spouses are working, as for hair, beauty and massage therapy I can manage the hair and beauty department alone, a massage I go get one at a spa.
my husband does about 70% of the housework. he always has. he likes to. i do 80% or so of the cooking. he has blow dried my hair and brushed it several times. we give each other massages every now and then and shower together often and stuff like that.
It Truly depends. I would love for his assistance in doing dishes, or especially, mopping the floors (extra muscle power). I would not want his assistance in hair or beauty. That's just not his thing.
I like doing it all myself or hiring out. Yes I do like him to take our the trash or lift heavy things for me, but that is it.
for home work till he dont bother me and what I said to do!!!!!!!!!!!!! not more such as hair and beauty and massage threrapy.........
