ok, huge hair problem here, my hair is VERY thick, (4 times the average) and very wavy, it frizzes all the time! and it poofs like a moutian! even when i straighten it or curl it is horrible, i need help and quick!This is for all those hair dressers out there...?
get a frizz or smoothing shampoo and conditioner and make sure to condition very well

about once a week use a hot oil treatment

when you dry your hair, towel dry first and put in a hair serum for frizz

blow dry it with a brush and brush down as you dry it- also point the blow dryer downward and dry, dont dry it blwiong it from the side

after it is dry smooth some polishing cream or glossing serum (u can use the same type of serum as you did before you dried) and run it through your hair from about 2'; from your scalp down

then use a ceramic straightner and do SMALL sections at a time... it may take a while, but it will be worth it

make sure you are pulling the hair down as your straighten and not out or up

start at your nape (pull up the rest of your hair and hold it with a clip)

pull down sections as you straighten

after you are done you could try using a hair wax on the ends for a piecy look wich will also help to keep the ends smooth from frizzing out

they also sell creams to ';seal'; your hair but i am not sure how they work

another thing you can do it wear your hair curly more often use a smoothing cream and curling gel run it through wet (towel dried) hair and use a bliow dryer with a diffuser to instantly dry your hair keepign the curl but not making it frizz

the more you do to your hair the more dry and frizzy it will become so the more you dont dry and straighten it the more it should become smoother over timeThis is for all those hair dressers out there...?
man u and i r like soul sisters wen it comes to hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!i have asked at least 10 times about my poofy hair and no answer seems to be te best...............my hairs problem is wen it poofs like a pyramid!!!! i h8 it!!!!!!grrrrrrrrrrrr i havent bought it but ive heard ';paul mitchell super skinny shampoo,treatment, and the reast of the line'; is preetty good 4 frizzy hair and kinda 4 poof. not sure though.......yup, wen i flat ironn my poofy hair it helps a lil bit but not too much.....it suxs and i feel 4 u and me

go to sallys shop or even walgreens and go to the section for african hair like afros trust me it works to calm it down
