because due to the natural similarity in hair styles of individuals from East Asia and the Far East (eg long straight black hair) many young people there who want to look unique and individual can only do so by radically altering the conventional look of their hair styles.

I dont and for them, for them I guess its keeping with the trend, being uncreative, vain, insecured......not being themselves...
I keep mine real short and dont need gel or anything....
