Will most hair dressers know how to do this cut?

I used to have a style similar to this, but it grew out and I've gotten it re-cut since. I need extra volume in my hair because it's really straight and flat. Do you think most hairdressers will know how to do this cut? I go to a guy who owns a small independent salon, and I'm usually happy with the results, so I'm HOPING he will get close to this cut:

Most of the time with pictures, hair dressers get it right, because they have something to go off of, instead of words (ie: ';side bangs, not too thick, not too thin, layers, but not too many'; don't really help)

Jussssssssst ask for some choppy layers, done with that blade that they have so that they don't look all straight and MESSED up..


most hairstylists in independent salons will be good with modern cuts, if you go to like GreatClips and shiiiiz they don't know anything about that stuff





And if you really want to get the exact cut, just bring in that photo for him or look up some photos that have that hairstyle in them..
