i. DO NOT ask a friend to give you this style, you've high chances of ending up with permanent chemical burns - BALDNESS and SCARRING!





ii. You want a choppy style - not a ';hacked'; style. It's rude to degenerate a professional's profession in such a way, you know better.





Be sure to take in a picture.





iii. You can have those colours in your hair (most likely), however, they will readily fade and you need to consider if you can afford to maintain your look. Also, a point worthy of some note, some colours bleed a little so it's possible that you may incurr some violet hues after you first wash your hair at home. But, if you maintain your ';look';, you'll be all right.

Anyway, if i were you, i'd go to a really good hair dresser. Make sure they have experienced and professional stylists and colour...ists? haha!





I went to my normal hair dresser once (just a little one in the suburbs) and said 'can you shorten my hair and layer it so it looks all choppy?' the girl was new to that store and my hair ended up looking NOTHING like what i wanted :-(

Why not get a friend around and do it. Will be a heap cheaper! and you will honestly get the same results. because all you want is a hack job.
I would bring picture references to avoid confusion about the cut and color. I would avoid using the word hack.
Go to the salon on a saturday morning. Chances are your stylist will be hungover / drugf#cked from the night before...
I'm not a hairdresser, but I'm familiar enough with hair that I could do it, and make it look good!
They can do anything!!! As crazy as you would want!!!
