Why do hair dressers lie?

You tell them you want a specific color or cut, and when it's done, it's nothing like what you asked for. People who are there are agreeing with you but the hair stylist is like NO, that's exactly what you wanted. I'm talking about when you bring a picture too, so it's not like being all vague. This happened at least with 3 different stylists. Why do they lie? can't they just admit they messed up OR if the customer is willing to pay extra for correction coloring, why can't they say sure and book and appt for it.Why do hair dressers lie?
i went to a pro once with dyed light brown hair and wanted medium/dark ash blonde ... when i left, my hair was orange. well it was more like strawberry blonde but it was NOTHING like what i wanted. and i too showed her a picture. she made this excuse like my hair was too damaged to make it the color i wanted. she made it lighter than i wanted! i have no idea, i think it's messed up and rude, and i never went to a pro since, i always do my hair myself and i'm studying to be a professional hair stylist. i'm gonna be way better than those jokers.Why do hair dressers lie?
It could be she either really did think the style was like the picture of she was hoping to convince you it did look like the picture. Maybe she didn't want to get in trouble or didn't want to be bothered correcting her mistake. No matter which is the reason, you should bring it up to the attention of the salon manager.
i agree totally. thats why i never visit salons anymore. i hate also when u ask for something and they say they cant do it, and u go to another and they do it no problem. its just because they're probably not good enough to do a certain treatment and wont risk it
They're either to lazy or they aren't good enough pahah.
