Whats the difference between a Beautician* and a Hair Dresser?

Hiardresser does your hair and Beautician does other bits of your body, e.g waxing, nail painting, facials, makeup, tanning, it should be easy to find places if your look through the yellow pages.Whats the difference between a Beautician* and a Hair Dresser?
a beautician does things with your body while a hairdresser only does your hair.
a beautician does manicure/pedicures/waxing etc while a hairdresser styles/cuts (etc) your hair
They are the same. For some reason, the name keep changing.
I don't think there is a difference, a COSMETOLOGIST...which you must have a license for to legally do hair...learns how to do hair, make-up, nails, facials, etc. A beutician is just a fancy name...

A beautician waxes, pampers, does facials, massages etc.
