How can you explain to your hair dresser how you want it cut?

I want it sort of cut spikey at the back with a a fringe but like pretty short at the side but not too short sort of emo if you like. Can they cut off of a picture? and does anyone know what style i meen and have any pictures?How can you explain to your hair dresser how you want it cut?
hey im a hairdresser and they way that you described the hair cut that you want was actually almost perfect. all you need to do is go into the salon and tell them exactly what you just said except you need to tell them how long you would like it and specify the maximum lenght you would like taken off. and the stylest may even find a picture in a mag. for you to be sure that you are both on the same page.How can you explain to your hair dresser how you want it cut?

ya they can cut your hair like a picture just make sure its a good picture!
