Hi I went to a hair dressers and they have completely ruined my hair?

I went in the hairdressers at 3pm. For highlights at the top of my parting. and the bottom quarter in colour 4 dark brown. My hair was in perfect condition before I went in there.When she washed my hair out, it was horendous, alll the number 4 on the bottom was ginger and red! before I even sat down I said I hate red and ginger hair!. She said everything would be fine, she assured me of this. And she comented '; this is my favourite colour.I use this on all my client that want this colour,it's a gorgeous chocolate colour'; She had put 4 packs of the dark brown through my sides of my head on each side. Which I only told her to put 2 in the right side of my head!. She then put another 2 colours on my hair.a darker brown on the bottom quarter of my hair, and all the top of my head she just bleached. It wasn't highlights at all. She then washed my hair again and started to dry it. The brush would and couldn't even brush through my hair!. It was a nightmare. From the begining to the end!!. I then start crying and said just leave it. I felt my hair and all of it was like wire wool. All the ends everywhere all over my head!!. My hair was immaculate condition before I went in there. The next thing I find out was that she had got hair dye on my Louis Vuitton handbag that was bought for me for my birthday!! which ment alot to me. I was devastated.... My hair is in such bad condition what would anyone suggest. I want to be a blonde highlights as I used to be, with my mousey brown hair intergrated within each other. With perfect condition hair. The thing is though, is she has only just opened this shop...well took it over and now she is the owner of the salon. I have tryed to leave answering machine messages but she has never phoned me back. Plus her shop has been shut since this has happened. Can anyone advise me of what I can do with my hair to get itback right. at the minute it's all brassy blondes on the top of my head. and gingery browny red underneath. can I rectify it!!!!!

i love my hair w/ a deep passion and if that happened to me id prolly burn down the salon





ok so the things u can do to fix ur hair is:


-buy a de-gunk shampoo (thank god they make them) which ive seen at shopko and some pick n saves


-wash a good few times w/ shampoo and the dye may come out b/c its so fresh. condition


-buy a hair dye box from walmart or w/e thats the color u really wanted to get and just do it yourself and do a totally color job, forget the highlights for now


-towel dry your hair (dont want to add split ends the equation)


-drink some tea and watch a movie to relax





your hair could just need a good wash from all those chemicals and it might take a few days of good washing and conditioning to get it back to normal. if anything, and this is a tooootal last resort, you can get it chopped short till it grows back

i would suggest you start washing your hair on a daily basis with tigi bed head dumb blonde shampoo. i would suggest that you invest in cute hats and bandannas. honey just let your hair grow until it is back to its normal shade and then go to an experienced professional and bring a picture of what you want your hair to look like.
I hope you didnt pay them! How could she of damaged your hair with dark brown dye? Maybe she mixed some other crap in it. I wouldnt of payed for it and the second you noticed your bag gone right back and flipped the f**k out.





The problem is if you just went along with everything and paid it's hard to prove that they really did anything. They'll have the copy of the receipt that you paid and say ok so if she's so unhappy why did she pay? You should of made a big scene at the time of the event. They could argue that you did that yourself or went somewhere else after. They could also say that you got the dye on your bag and that you're trying to scam them.





I'm not taking their side at all but that's what they'll do. Those salon people are real a$$holes!





Your best bet is to storm in there and make a big deal and see what they say. It can't hurt ASAP. You'll see if they're jerks or not right off the bat.
That's terrible. You should've yelled at her. But now you can't go back in time, I would try a different hair place and see if they could fix it or try doing something yourself. A good haircare place will do good do might wanna check at one of those.
Oh my goodness that's TERRIBLE! :'(





I would go straight to the manager of the place and complain. She ruined your hair, and ruined your birthday gift which means so much to you. I hate it when hairdressers do what they want to people's hair because they think it'll look good, that's why I get very picky when I go to hairdressers.





Get a hold of the salon and yell at them, then go to a different salon and have them fix it up for you.





Please do NOT try to fix this on your own, unless you know 100% that you know what you're doing. If you have any nagging doubts, don't do it!





Remember, hair grows...this isn't permanent and use a lot of conditioning treatment! :)
