I had my hair dyed red at the hair dressers over blonde hair and it will NOT stay on the ends, help!?

The hairdresser warned me it would fade, particularly on the ends as they were loads lighter, and that is would take 2-3 goes before it will stick. I've since used to two boxes over the space if two weeks, and it still wont stick, just goes a pinky orangy colour at the ends. I don't want to dye my hair every weekend because it can't be good for it (and I can't afford to keep buying hair dye!). I go some John Frieda red shampoo, conditions and glaze but it hasn't made a difference. I've just put a Schwarzkopf Live XXL red on and bought some Wella Lifetex shampoo and masque, is there anything else I can do to make it not fade in a few washes??I had my hair dyed red at the hair dressers over blonde hair and it will NOT stay on the ends, help!?
im sorry to say but it sounds like your hair is just too damaged from all the bleaching to hold any color. the best thing to do is just to cut off the ends so your hair can grown better. :( sorry.
