How do i explain this 2 my hair dresser..?

How do i explain to the hairdresser how i want my hair?



I want a emo/scene cut but i want to keep my length. My hair is a couple inches past my shoulders.



I want it to look like i have exstetions but not really. and i want it to be all short and choppy up the top.



Any photos would be great



i have told her how i have wanted my hair before but it never turns out right.

go on photobucket and try find some photos of how you wat it. or draw a picture of what you want
Bring a magazine with pictures of someone with a similar haircut.
I do not know if explaining it would help then, so I think the best thing that you can do is to show a picture of a celebrity that you like. I mean most people relate to celebrities more, so if you have a name %26amp; a picture, I think that your hairdresser will have a better understanding of want you want.



Also, I think that the concept that you want will be difficult to do %26amp; find in a picture, but talk it over with your hairdresser before she cuts it, %26amp; hopefully then she will understand it more.
as a stylist...i loved when people brought me a picture!

i'm sure she'll use a straight razor to get all the choppiness in. those are awesome haircuts- and easy to maintain :)
