Okay so about a month ago i used a hair dye from the supermarket, it turned the roots an almost orange colour, so i re-dyed it with a cooler tone, but now as it fades the orange look is returning to the roots.
I need to re-dye it, but cant have it do that again, i just want an ash blonde colour.
My natural colour is dark blonde, and usually have ash highlights, but due to my hairdresser (really close, loyal family friend) being very sick, i cant have it done by a pro atm.
Do i leave it on the roots for longer or shorter time then the lengths?
Why is this happening :( its nothing like what the box looked like !!!!Any Hair dressers/anyone that is experienced with dying hair, blonde in particular, helppp :(?
Never is Don't use ';Box Color'; and mixing different products could leave you with a permanent demarcation line. The lighter the blonde the higher the developer like 40 volume box only had 20. Go to a Sally's and get the more pro products, cheaper too. Shorter on the roots with allover color.
