Yes, see if your local community college offers a cosmetology program and what it requires to get in. You may have to complete your GED or classes before you officially start cosmetology school. And the whole Bill Gates thing... that's because he's a genius anyways. Einstein dropped out of school because it wasn't challenging enough for him.
Yeah Bill Gates dropped out of college (Harvard) and is the riches man in the world as well as one of the most important people.
