HAIR DRESSERS PLEASE HELP!! hair color?

SO I went to get my hair lighter to a salon today, i was bleach blond when i was younger but now its strawberry/light brown asked to get highlights and the guy just did his thing. he did partials in a lighter color but honestly my hair doesnt look ANY different than before...I paid $120. so im dissapointed. what should i have asked for if i wanted my hair to look like this

and also...do u guys think i can work something out with the guy if i call him tomorrow? how should i approach it so he wont get mad?

As a hairdresser you would rather someone come back and us fix it. Happy customer are always better then not happy.

Call him maybe with no expectations. Tell him how you feel about the no change. Offer to bring by the pic you showed us. See if he would be willing to make it lighter since it did not work the first time.
I would talk with the hairdresser and tell them that you are not happy with the way your hair turned out. Most stylist want you to be happy and will work with you.
